Austin Family Portrait Photographer Wells Branch

I met with this gorgeous family with 3 beautiful girls when their mama was pregnant with her 2nd daughter. I love seeing their personalities as they grow. This year, they have picked Wells Branch Homestead to take their annual family photo.

Built in 1853, the Homestead consists of an original log cabin and several realistic, early Texas structures. The cabin, furnished with authentic artifacts, provides a vivid look into the past and what life was like on the Texas frontier. We took pictures by the cabin, the wagon, the smokehouse and the drying shed.

If you would like to immerse yourself in a little piece of Texas history, there are educational tours and programs geared for all ages. The Wells Branch Homestead is located inside of Katherine Fleischer Park, North Austin.
